1. The service

Trimzio is a browser-based, local-first video editor. Core editing and export run on your device. Local-only mode is on by default and blocks optional hosted AI and transcription requests until you deliberately enable and use those online services. By using Trimzio you agree to these terms.

2. Your content is yours

You keep every right to the videos, audio, images, captions and projects you edit with Trimzio. We claim no ownership over them. You give us and our configured providers only the limited permission needed to process information you deliberately submit to an online feature, such as an AI prompt or transcription audio.

3. Accounts and online features

Core editing and local review handoff are available without an account. Shared review workspaces and hosted AI require an account. Workspace members can view and update shared feedback, so keep invite links and account credentials secure. Hosted AI may be subject to daily usage allowances and may use third-party model or speech providers. AI suggestions can be incomplete or wrong, so review proposed edits and generated text before relying on or publishing them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Trimzio only with content you have the right to use, and not to use it to produce material that is unlawful. You are responsible for what you create, the feedback you place in shared workspaces, who receives workspace invite links, and how you share exported files.

5. Plans, limits and availability

Core editing, offline smart tools, local review handoff, bounded shared workspaces and watermark-free local exports are currently free. Workspace and hosted AI features may have account-based limits, and paid or Pro options may be introduced for higher allowances, larger teams, advanced roles or support. Features, limits and provider availability can change as the service develops.

6. No warranty

Trimzio is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Redundant browser recovery and project files help protect work but are not substitutes for normal backups. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost footage, lost work, inaccurate AI output or other damages arising from use.

7. Changes

We may update the editor, the website and these terms over time. When terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use Trimzio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
