About Trimzio

Video editing should not require handing over your files

Trimzio exists because everyday editing should not begin with a giant upload, a watermark, or a subscription. Your browser is powerful enough to handle the core workflow locally, with optional online AI available when you choose it.

Our story

Trimzio started with a frustration almost everyone has felt: you record a quick video, you just want to trim the start and the end, and suddenly you are creating an account, uploading gigabytes to someone else's server, waiting for processing, and getting a watermarked file back.

Modern browsers can decode, render and encode video natively. Trimzio leans on that strength: core edits and exports run on your machine. Hosted AI is kept separate, disclosed clearly, and used only when you choose an online feature.

What began as a simple trimming tool has grown into a full everyday editor: multi-clip timelines, overlays, captions, effects, music, voiceover, noise reduction, free offline smart tools, and an optional AI assistant.

What we believe

Why local-first

Privacy is the default

Family videos, client work and unreleased footage do not need to be uploaded for core editing. Online AI is optional and separated from that local workflow.

Local is faster

No upload queue, no render farm wait. Your edit starts the moment the file opens and exports as fast as your own hardware allows.

No lock-in

Core editing needs no account or proprietary cloud library. Projects are portable files on your computer that you can move and back up yourself.

Where Trimzio is going

Trimzio is under active development. Shared review workspaces now join the local editor, portable handoff, smart tools, and optional AI workflows. Larger-team controls and publishing workflows can grow from here, while ordinary editing and export remain on your computer.
