Keeps a .trimzio project file on your computer up to date automatically, so you never lose progress. Each save rewrites the whole file (video included), so it runs on the interval below rather than continuously.
Videos / Trimzio
By default, projects are saved in a Trimzio folder inside your Videos folder, created for you the first time you autosave. Click Change to pick a different folder (on macOS this opens your Movies folder). Available in Chrome and Edge on Windows and Mac; Safari and Firefox can't auto-save to a folder, so use Save project there instead.
Trimzio was opened directly from a file, so your browser will not remember this folder and will ask for it again every time you open the app. To fix it, close this tab and start Trimzio with Start Trimzio.cmd (in the Trimzio folder) instead. It opens the same app at localhost, where the folder and its permission stick.

A quick guide to editing in Trimzio. Everything stays on your computer.
Move the playhead and press S to split the video into clips. Then work directly on the timeline: drag a clip to rearrange it, drag its edges to trim (or extend it back out), double-click to remove it, right-click for more actions. Removed clips disappear from the timeline; undo brings them back.
Use + Add clip (or drop more video files onto the window) to append other videos to the timeline; each clip remembers which file it came from. Hover the timeline and click a + at any clip edge to insert a video right there instead of at the end.
Add text or a local image (logo, sticker), then drag it into place directly on the preview. Each overlay has its own timing, shown as a bar under the timeline. Select an overlay and use the arrow keys to nudge it; Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V to copy and paste it.
Color, style, orientation, crop, audio, speed and music are applied live to the preview and baked into the export.
